E veryone has gone mad for monochrome-including me! Particularly black and white stripes contrasted with neutral colors!

I’ve always had an infatuation with stripes and actually had to stop myself from wearing them. Growing up that’s literally all I wore, so for this look I felt like a kid all over again. I guess I must be really into green because it was my contrast color of choice when planning this look. I figured this was the perfect playful street-wear ensemble for Saturday brunch with friends at LA staple Toca Madera.

If you love Mexican cuisine then you will love this upscale organic Mexican cantina. Oh and did I say their cocktails are amazing! I caught up with friends I haven’t seen in a while in style.

So for this look I paired my black and white monochrome long line shirt from Asos with my black slit-knee skinny jeans from Zara. I actually went and picked up a pair of black high top Converse Allstars from Macy’s just for this look. I contrasted the entire black and white look with a green button up from Zara left unbuttoned.
