NEW YORK FASHION WEEK MEN’S

So NYFW: Men’s went off absolutely perfect. Let me just start say I have a deep appreciation for New York city because the city has so much style and culture! I don’t know if there is any other place on earth that’s more inspiring when it comes to fashion, and now I’m back here in LA full of inspiration and ideas. My mission while in NYC for the week was to of course attend all the shows, but also visit my laundry list of “must see’ places around the city. I’m happy to say that I completed my mission successfully! From the time I arrived until the time I left it was pure chaos- but in a good way. Straight off a red eye flight to get dressed and head off to my first of what seemed like a billion shows- oh and it conveniently started to snow in the midst of all this. Shout out to Lyft, they definitely held me down when I was rushing from one show to the next with minimal time in between.

All the designers for Men’s week did a phenomenal job with their presentations, and I was in awe at many of the unique and creatively designed pieces.

While attending the shows I was able to finally meet many of my fellow influencers and bloggers for the first time. Any chance I get to network and connect with my peers is a great time! If you have ever attended NYFW before then you know one of the best parts is the street photography that goes down outside the shows. Many of your favorite magazines and online publications are scouting out people attending shows for dope street-wear looks. essence magazine caught me leaving a show and featured two of my looks in their NYFW: Men’s Street style segment- how cool right?

Here’s a few snapshots of the city I was able to capture in between shows. Oh how I love NYC!

One of my favorite things about NYC is definitely the taxis!

I had to see what all the hype was about at Dough doughnut shop in NYC- so good!

Here is my take on the historical flat iron building

Couldn’t wait to get to my favorite coffee shop in NYC- Happy Bones!

I had to go up to the 20th floor of some random building to get my shot of the Empire State Building.
