KENZO X H&M

So the KENZO x H&M collaboration launched last week and for the first time I was able to get all the pieces that I wanted. Shout out to the H&M in Glendale for the amazing VIP experience that I had! No waking up in the wee hours of the morning, no standing in a long line in the cold, no fighting over the last jacket on the rack, no disappointment- just feelings of blissful victory! This designer collab was jam packed with energy, creativity, and color. Iv’e always been a lover of KENZO’S rich jungle inspired aesthetic and display of different cultures in their designs. I knew when H&M announced that their next designer collaboration was with KENZO that I didn’t want to miss out on it!  Although my wardrobe consist of mainly neutral pieces, the energy of this collection encouraged me to have a little fun with color. I was excited to bring my creative style ideas to life and capture the essence of KENZO on my blog. So lets get into this KENZO and H&M collab shall we?

Iv'e always been a lover of Kenzo's rich jungle inspired aesthetic and display of different cultures in their designs!

I loved the design of this KENZO x H&M T-shirt with Appliques! This shirt caught my eye because its full of detail. The shirt itself is patterned providing the perfect back drop for the applique design on the front. I immediately thought about print mixing the shirt with camo – and that’s exactly what I did.

Being a huge fan of neutral earth colors I definitely had to get my hands on one of the only neutral pieces in the collection. This Cream KENZO x H&M Sweatshirt with Appliques paired perfectly with distressed denim jeans and my Adidas Stan Smith sneakers. What better way to keep it casual but still make a fashion statement?

Now on to my favorite piece in the entire collection- the KENZO x H&M MULTI COLORED HOODED JACKET. This statement piece does just that- makes a statement! I love that this piece is unapologetically bold and cocky. It demands attention in a crowd and makes people stare. I wore this jacket over the weekend and the amount of compliments I got were out if this world. After all what’s fashion without having fun!
