A ny chance I get to go to Miami- I take full advantage. It’s something about the energy of the city that is unique and invigorating, and you can’t find it anywhere else. It has always been my go to destination for a last minute weekend getaway, and was definitely the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of LA! If you have been following Darren Wears it Well then you know that I don’t just take vacations- I take STYLECATIONS. Any chance I get to travel, is also a chance to add a style story to my adventure, and this Miami getaway was no different!

For this trip I did a little bit of planning ahead but not much. A few weeks before leaving I spotted a round-trip flight out of LAX directly into Miami for a little over 300 dollars. Both of my planes were brand new with the works- were talking movies, outlets to charge my phone, and blankets- shout out to American Airlines for such a lux experience! So long story short I landed in sunny Miami to perfect 78 degree weather and checked in to the beautiful AC Marriott Miami Beach Hotel. I loved the simple, yet luxurious aesthetic of the AC, not to mention its prime location steps from the best beach in all of Miami.

While in Miami, I did what everyone else in Miami was doing- living life to the fullest! The food, the cocktails, the nightlife, the poolsides, and most importantly- the beach! In between all of this life living I managed to take some pretty amazing style captures- you know proof of the amazing time I had in MIA! Check it out.
